The result of her efforts is a welcoming country house hotel with a refreshing absence of stuffiness or unnecessary formality.

The bar (which is very well stocked with more than 60 highland malt whiskys). The residents lounge are comfortable and congenial where you can relax and acquaint yourself with the other quests. There is a no smoking policy in our lounge, dining and bedroom areas. Smokers can 'fume' in the bar and conservatory.

If you aim to take it easy you can bury yourself in a good book in our beautifully appointed conservatory overlooking an acre of mature gardens or relax on the sun terrace while the more energetic can enjoy a leisurely game of croquet.

All this is complemented by excellent, imaginative table d'hôte menus changed each day using local fresh produce and seafood and the chef makes his own bread on a daily basis.


The four star status awarded us by the Wales Tourist Board and a glance at our Visitor Book bears testimony to the high quality of hospitality enjoyed by all our guests, many of whom come back to us time and time again.
